Aeris Hammock is considered to be at risk due to a medical condition, according to police. She left the house alone in her gray Mustang around 1:30 on Friday afternoon, according to her parents.
As it approached 9 or 10 p.m., things were closing and we had not heard from her. Her mother, Leilani Hammock said that the incident set off red flags in her mind.
Police said Hammock was last seen on Friday near 3rd Avenue and 30th Street in South Sacramento.
In an attempt to locate her, her parents left their Roseville home, but when they found her car in Sacramento, something seemed amiss.
“The car was unlocked and the keys were inside. “Her phone, which was in the glove box, enabled them to track the vehicle,” said Aeris’ father, Charles.
Not only were her belongings in the car, but her phone had also been erased. Emails, texts, and phone calls dating back days and weeks have been erased.
There is a lot of information that has been deleted from the phone of Aeris Hammock, according to a spokesperson for the family.
“Everything in her emails, voicemails, calls out, calls in, and text messages,” Dee Ingram said. Every single one of them was erased back at least six months. It appears that someone went to great lengths to erase a great deal of information.”
Aeris Hammock was spotted by neighbors and they recall her saying that she was looking for a man named “Chris.”.
Due to the lack of communication with their daughter, her parents are now seeking assistance from the public.
She is said to have an arrow tattoo on her forearm and to be carrying a purse with a black and gold chain.
Hammock is described by police as being 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 170 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes.
According to police, she was last seen wearing a black/white sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and pink/lavender Ugg boots.
Police shared an image from surveillance footage that shows Hammock and the clothing she was wearing around the time of her disappearance on Monday afternoon.
