Security Guards
Logistics and Distribution Security
Dock, yard and trailer security for distribution centers and warehouses, covering cargo theft, driver verification and yard control.

Logistics & Distribution Security in practice
Cargo theft happens at the points where custody changes: the gate, the dock and the yard. USPA coverage is planned around those handoffs, with door and yard control procedures agreed with the facility's operations team so security does not slow legitimate freight.
Officers verify drivers against the dock schedule, check seals and paperwork, patrol trailer yards and staged equipment, and document exceptions in writing. Camera and alarm monitoring can be layered in where a site already has the infrastructure.
Gate and dock control
Driver verification against the dock schedule, load inspection and outbound document checks.
Yard and trailer patrols
Scheduled and randomized rounds of trailer parking, fencing, gates and fuel or equipment storage.
Cargo theft prevention
Procedures for high-value shipments, sealed loads and overnight staging of freight.
CCTV and alarm monitoring
Monitoring where the facility's camera and access systems can be integrated into coverage.

Questions clients ask before booking
- What is loss prevention?
- Loss prevention is the practice of finding and stopping the sources of inventory and cash loss in a business: internal theft, external theft, receiving errors and process gaps. A program usually starts with the data, moves to targeted observation and ends with interviews and corrective action once the documentation supports it.
- How do you investigate internal theft?
- From records and observation first. Receiving records, POS exceptions and camera coverage are reviewed to locate where loss is concentrated, and observation or short-term undercover placement is used where records alone cannot resolve the pattern. Interviews come after the documentation exists, which protects both the case and the company.
- Are investigative interviews legal?
- Yes, when conducted properly. USPA interviews are structured and non-coercive, conducted with the client's human resources team present and documented in writing. Interviewing personnel are trained in non-coercive methods, and the written file is suitable for HR action, an insurer or a law enforcement referral.
- What is shrink?
- Shrink is the gap between recorded inventory and actual inventory, measured as a percentage of sales. It aggregates theft, error and process failure, and it usually has a pattern before it has a suspect: a receiving discrepancy that repeats, a shift where dock counts do not reconcile or a location with recurring markdowns.
- Do you provide undercover investigators?
- Yes. Short-term placement or observation is used where a pattern cannot be resolved from records and camera review alone. Undercover work is scoped narrowly, time-boxed and documented, and it is paired with uniformed coverage where the location needs a standing post once the case is open.
- Can findings be used for prosecution or HR action?
- Yes. Case files are written with exhibit control so they can support HR action, a claim or a law enforcement referral. The documentation standard is the same regardless of which path the client takes: findings are recorded, sources are identified and the file stands on its own.
